Gunilda
When Jacques Cousteau's team of divers saw the Gunilda, they proclaimed it was one of the finest shipwreck in the world. This marvel of a wreck lies in over 240 feet of fresh cold Lake Superior water keeping it preserved as if it sank only yesterday. Today it is visited by a number of technical divers who have the training and proper equipment to venture to this extreme depth in cold water. Ron has visited the Gunilda since 1995, and is currently doing an archeological study of the impact of sport divers upon the ship. You can join him for his 11th trip to see the wonder beneath McGarvey Shoal. Click Gunilda to see more on this trip. Click here photos.
This trip is an exclusive CCR Trimix dive trip.
