As an instructor for Going Under Dive Center, you are part of the most progressive scuba diving agency in existence. Founded in 1993, GUDC was created with the philosophy that past practices should be re-evaluated in the light of new technology and that recreational scuba instruction should reflect the actual needs of open water divers.
You and Going Under Dive Center
As an instructor, your role in the GUDC family is the most important of all. The knowledge, skills and experience that you build with Going Under Dive Center will enable you to teach divers locally or world wide.
Taking the next step is easy
If you are an active diver who has sought continued education courses to build skill and confidence, your next step is the Rescue diver and Divemaster course. Upon completion of the Divemaster course, ask yourself; do I enjoy being outdoors, traveling, and helping others succeed?
If you answer yes, your positive attitude plus the great satisfaction you receive from helping others enjoy the same sport you love will help you become a Professional Instructor.
If you fit this description, stop in and visit with the staff at GUDC to start your journey.
GUDC's Role in seeing you succeed.
No one is born a professional, and for most of us, becoming a professional takes hard work and long term commitment to a set of quality goals. GUDC has a long history of professional retail, service and training to help you succeed. We will work with you to meet your goals. Upon completion of your Instructor training, Going Under will work extensively with you to develop additional experience and confidence. You will work hand in hand with seasoned staff Instructors in a variety of environments from classroom - pool to open water and advanced diver training.
Instructor Development
You will work with the GUDC staff, including Instructor Trainers Ron Benson during a week long program to develop the skills you will need to complete the two day evaluation process.
